Austin-Travis County Stage 3 Update (10/14/2021)
As the cases in hospitalizations in Austin continue to trend down, masks are optional for all clients and staff. If you opt to wear a mask, your Stylist will mirror you and wear one as well if they are not already.
Please know we are doing our very best to keep our staff, as well as the hundreds of clients who visit our salon each month, safe and healthy. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding!
Austin-Travis County Stage 5 Update (8/11/2021)
Due to the increase of cases and hospitalizations in Austin, Mirror Mirror employees will be wearing masks inside the salon.
At this time, the decision for guests to wear a mask or not during appointments will continue to be a personal choice. We ask that everyone remain respectful towards one another during your appointment.
Austin-Travis County Stage 2 Update (6/11/2021)
We’ve been wearing masks all day, every day, for over a year now. We get it - we’re ready to see your smiling faces too!
Carefully following the guidance of the CDC, Travis County Health Department, and the TDLR has been our priority from day one. After a lot of team discussions and consideration for our guests, we feel ready to take the next step towards normalcy.
As of June 14th, masks will become optional inside the salon for guests and team members of Mirror Mirror.
We understand some of you may still be nervous to go without and we want to respect that. We are encouraging any team member or guest to continue wearing their mask if that makes them feel safer. Your comfort is of the utmost importance to us so we will take your lead and if you wear a mask, we are asking your Stylist to mirror you and wear one as well.
Salons have always followed more stringent rules when it comes to safety, so that stays the same. This means plenty of hand sanitizer, and hospital-grade cleaning and sanitation protocols remain in place.
Additionally, as always we encourage you to stay home if you feel ill in any way or have been exposed to anything that you might pass along.
Answering Your Questions
Why June 14th instead of now?
We want to provide our guests with enough heads up to decide if they want to adjust their upcoming appointments. We do require 24 hours or more notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment to avoid any cancellation fees.
I’m not comfortable being indoors without masks yet - what are my options?
Please give our team a call. We can try rescheduling you to a less busy time, add back plexiglass, and answer any questions you may have to help make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Thank you for your cooperation, understanding, and continued support, on behalf of the 20+ humans and families that make up our team.
