Alyssa loves the creativity of doing hair—and nothing beats seeing a guest’s reaction when the final look comes together.

Right now, highlights and layered haircuts have her heart, with balayage and extensions high on her list of what she’s excited to master next. Her goal is pretty simple: she wants you to leave feeling like your hair has never looked better—and maybe a little excited to tell everyone who did it.

Alyssa’s chair is also a judgment-free zone. Want to talk about everything on your mind? She’s in. Want to relax and barely talk at all? Also completely fine. She loves building genuine relationships with her guests and creating an experience where you can be yourself.

Outside the salon, you’ll probably find her at the gym, at the dog park or trying a new Austin restaurant—and once you get to know her, expect plenty of sarcasm and jokes along the way.

Mirror Mirror is a teaching salon with a rigorous, hands-on Apprentice Program designed to develop exceptional stylists from the ground up. Our Emerging Talent works alongside and learns from experienced Mirror Mirror stylists while progressing through education, practice and service-specific check-offs.

If a service is available to book with an Emerging Talent stylist, they have completed the training and check-offs required by Mirror Mirror to offer that service.
