Avie loves the creativity of doing hair, but her favorite part might be the person sitting in her chair. She loves meeting new people, hearing their stories and creating the kind of experience that leaves someone feeling more confident than when they walked in.

And that final mirror reveal? That’s her favorite part.

Currently offering blowouts as part of Mirror Mirror’s Emerging Talent team, Avie is especially excited about getting more experience with lived-in blondes and continuing to learn the art of blended, seamless extensions. She’s also serious about a great finish—and as a photographer’s daughter, she admits she may be a little particular about getting the perfect after photo.

Outside the salon, you’ll probably find Avie dressed up and scouting a cool spot for an Instagram photo, thrifting pieces no one else would think to put together, trying somewhere new with friends and family, or ordering an iced oat milk latte with caramel.

Her current product obsession? Davines OI Hair Butter for dry, frizzy hair. She loves how smooth it leaves the hair—and says the smell is pretty hard to beat.

Mirror Mirror is a teaching salon with a rigorous, hands-on Apprentice Program designed to develop exceptional stylists from the ground up. Our Emerging Talent works alongside and learns from experienced Mirror Mirror stylists while progressing through education, practice and service-specific check-offs.

If a service is available to book with an Emerging Talent stylist, they have completed the training and check-offs required by Mirror Mirror to offer that service.
