For Maddy, the best part of doing hair is that final reveal—seeing a guest light up and leave feeling beautiful from the inside out.

She loves foiling and styling and is especially excited about dimensional brunettes, extensions and blonding. As she continues growing behind the chair, she has her sights set on bigger transformations and high-impact blondes—the kind of hair that makes you do a double take when you see the finished result.

But great hair is only part of the appointment for Maddy. She wants her chair to feel completely judgment-free: a place where she’ll listen to what you want, talk through your goals and make sure you feel comfortable from start to finish. She loves getting to know her guests, laughing together and creating the kind of genuine experience that leaves you feeling like the very best version of yourself.

When she’s not at Mirror Mirror, this born-and-raised Austinite is happiest by the pool with a fantasy book, cuddling with her dog or enjoying breakfast in bed. Her current essentials include pho, coloring books, Nerds Gummy Clusters and a strong-and-sweet shaken espresso. And one fact you probably won’t guess? Her first job involved dressing up as a mermaid.
