Shawn Friesen

Shawn is a true native Texan - born in Odessa, grew up around Houston in a tiny, one stop light town called Van Vleck, and moved to Austin in 1998. He worked in retail management for a few years but craved a career that allowed him to channel his creative energy. Shawn began his career in 2007 and has been in love with creating beautiful hair ever since. His meticulous attention to detail and skilled eye bring his cherished clients hair to life. Whether it’s sun kissed highlights, beautifully natural color, a great cut, or even a gorgeous blowout (his favorite) every service with Shawn is treated with the same careful precision and love of craft. When not behind the chair Shawn enjoys technology and everything automotive - like restoring his 1965 VW Karmann-Ghia soon! He is married to his wonderful husband and they have a very energetic 100 pound, yellow lab that makes sure there’s never a dull moment.
